Carnegie Mellon University is proud to welcome the Technology, Management & Policy Graduate Consortium to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the group?s 2007 annual meeting. This year the meeting will be held on June 25 and 26 with options for social events on June 23 and 24.

Hosted by Carnegie Mellon’s Department of Engineering and Public Policy, this event will provide a forum for graduate student research presentations concerned with technology, management and policy. The meeting will also include a poster session. In selecting platform presentations, preference will be given to papers that combine technical content with management and/or public content.

Students wishing to make a research presentation must submit a title and 100-word abstract by May 1, 2007 (deadline extended till May 15). All proposals should be pre-screened by students’ institutions both to assure quality and the availability of travel support. (Download form in PDF)

Costs for Sunday’s social events, as well as meals listed on draft agenda will be provided by Carnegie Mellon; however, costs for all other meals, travel, accommodation, and local activities outside those mentioned on the agenda will need to be handled by guests themselves or by the program supporting them.

To maintain the personal and informal setting of previous consortium meetings, event attendance will be limited to those institutions within the Graduate Consortium.
