Welcome to the Antonino Vaccaro's webpage at the Department of Engineering and Public Policy of Carnegie Mellon University.

Antonino has currently a double appointment in Carnegie Mellon University, Department of Engineering and Public Policy and in the Catholic University of Lisbon, School of Business and Economics where he serves respectively as Research Fellow and as Executive Director of the Center for Ethics, Business and Economics www.fcee.lisboa.ucp.pt/cebe.

Antonino’s research interests concern the impact of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) on firms, innovation capabilities and the ethical issues associated with the use of ICTs in organizations.

Antonino has worked on several projects of consultancy and applied research. Among others he has collaborated with: Southern Company (Atlanta, Georgia, US), Alcoa (Pittsburgh, USA),  Artsana Group (Como, Italy), Tecnotre (Verona, Italy) , Volkswagen Autoeuropa (Lisbon, Portugal), Centro Ricerche Fiat (Turin, Italy) and the IN+ Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research (Lisbon, Portugal).

Antonino is currently working in several research projects with Prof. Francisco Veloso (Carnegie Mellon University), Prof. Stefano Brusoni (Bocconi University), Prof. Peter Madsen (Carnegie Mellon University), Prof. Ronaldo Parente (Rutgers University), Prof. Dalia Patino Echeverri (Duke University), Prof. Luciano Floridi (Oxford University), Hugo Horta (IST, Lisbon & Carnegie Mellon University) and Matteo Turilli (Oxford University).
